I've often seen the scout hut from a distance and wondered what it's like. How many people does it sleep? I'm guessing a moderate size scout troop, at least.

The wimmin folk in our family always complain about lack of toilet on camping trips...this might provide perfect avenue to kill that excuse.

Could you PM the details to me corvus? I rekon I might just take this offer up :)

Likewise, could you send the booking contact info to me in a private message? I think this would be the perfect solution to my trying to find an easy walk to a hut that would be suitable to take my wife and 8 month old baby to.

And this one could be done any time of year. So I won't have to worry so much about squeezing the walk in before winter really sets in.
