Tyvek home wrap v 1443r

I was looking at purchasing some Tyvek for a groundsheet. Can someone please explain which type is best? I noted a cheap source in one of the threads for 1443r but it sounds as this may be more suited to applications such as bivvy bags rather than being used as a groundsheet. Just want to make sure I buy the right thing the first time!

1443R is softer and lighter but not all that water resistant under pressure, so good for debris not wet ground .
There are different grades of Home Wrap but they all are more water resistant but a bit heavier and stiffer.
To soften them you just wrap them up like a newspaper and then twist the ends like wringing a cloth.

The differences are as Franco states. 1443r is described as more fabric like and the homewrap more paper like. Most people will choose 1443r over homewrap for the lightweight, and when they don't require the slight difference in water resistance. For a ground sheet used in conjunction with a tent floor water resistance is less of an issue, in my opinion, than if you were using on its own under a tarp for instance. 1443r also packs smaller. Homewrap is also likely to be a bit more durable in the long term.

It is worth checking out the 3M window insulation plastic https://www.amazon.com/3M-Indoor-Window-Insulator-5-Window/dp/B00002NCJI?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0. It is waterproof, surprisingly tough and cheap.

Durability is of some concern for me as we are currently planning to do the AAWT next year and it won't really be easy to replace part way if it gets a hole.

My plan was to include 2 spares along the way, the 'Patio Door' included enough to make 3 groundsheets. I am hoping to have a go at the AAWT next year as well, if I have time between submission of my thesis and beginning work.
