Reinforcing FG wands revisited

Postby Moondog55 » Sun 05 Feb, 2017 1:03 pm

Yes I would rather use proper wand sections from Easton but that won't happen this year
I was in Bunnings buying worms for the Pet Poo composter and had a quick look at PEX plumbing pipe

I had the idea that it might make a reasonable reinforcing material for fibreglass wands somewhat cheaper than shrink-wrap
and more flexible than PVC

If it came in 12mm that would fit the FG wands really tightly
Any body here have any experience with it?
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart
