Nylon Ripstop PU Coated - which side facing out?

Postby Squiggles » Sun 03 Sep, 2017 8:07 pm

Hi all,
I picked up some PU coated Ripstop Nylon from Tiergear to make some stuff sacks out of, but am stuck with the dilemma of which side of the material should be outer facing (exposed to water).
One side feels like it has the PU coating while the other is rougher. Does the PU coated side face outwards to the elements or does the the coated side go on the inside for better protection of it against wear?

Cheers!
