comfy shoulder straps

Hi

looking for opinions on pack shoulder straps - what are peoples thoughts on the most comfy from a perspiration perspective ?

Do you think that the mesh works/worth bothering with or just stick with a lightweight canvas/uncoated nylon ? or ?

I used (waterproof) X-Pac fabric, but put a pad of 12 mm wool felt under it. Unlike CCF, the felt has lasted, and lasted, and lasted (decade?).
