Help ! - Alloy Pole Sleeve Needed

I fell on, and consequently broke, a carbon fibre trekking pole last week. Thanks to a purchase on here, I have some spare bits, but I am confident that I can repair the broken pole if I can find an appropriate alloy sleeve.

The sleeve needs to be 14.3mm ID and minimum 70mm long.

Would anyone have such a sleeve in their collection of bits and pieces ?

Happy to provide a paid for postage bag and some coffee money or whatever to anyone who can help.

Fingers crossed. Thank you. :D

I'm a bit busy at the moment but I just may have something.
Alternatively what is the internal ?
Sometimes an internal is just as good

It may be worth mentioning the model of pole as there may be someone with the section you require. Also have you tried contacting the manufacturer to ask about buying just the single section. I know Ruta Locura sell replacement pole sections for their poles. I will also have a look through my motley collection of odd tent poles.

Alternatively again superglue gel to join the pieces and an epoxy fibreglass wrap.
Mark has a better solution tho

Thanks MD. It's the top section that broke, immediately above where the bottom, inner section, ends. so unfortunately a neater internal sleeve wont work.

Thanks Mark. They are Gossamer Gear. I already have spare sections as I bought a broken set from cams on here a few years ago. I thought at the time that I would never need them  So I have put together a replacement pole, but I would like to repair the broken top section which is otherwise in perfect condition and just too good to discard.

OK So a 16mm ski pole section? No problem I'll cut one off from one of my spare alloy ski poles, I'll cut just below the handle where tube is straight
Where do I send it?

Well - it's like this you see.

My initial assessment was that the outer had broken right at the end of the inner/lower section. Pole could still be adjusted and I could shorten it to finish the trip by simply sliding the inner further in and relocking it. Easy.

When I pulled it apart i discovered that I had actually broken the inner as well.So the break was at the strongest part of the pole.

Aaany how. I plan to fix the inner with a hardwood plug. Needs to be approx 11.7mm dia. Nearest that I can find is 12.6, but at least I have a couple of people who can turn a length down for me - at there leisure  Once that is sorted, I'll turn my attention to the outer.

As I have a spare assembled from bits, the pressure is off, but the repair is going to take a while.

These things are so *&%$#! good (for me) that if I had no choice, I would buy a replacement. The light weight means they can be in your hands the whole time. Even holding them horizontal by the grips isn't tiring or annoying.
