Hobo cuffs Ideas on fabric asked for

Postby Moondog55 » Thu 10 May, 2018 4:16 pm

So to make best use of the gear I have and just in case it gets really cold I am taking my old down parka to Canada and Alaska.
To be able to use it as a mid-layer I need to alter the cuff to an elastic sleeve type and I will use a big thumb hole for good sealing with my glove system.
I have heard this type of cuff system called a Hobo cuff lately
There are many different fabrics and sleeving being used by different makers but is there any one that stands out as being a little better?
Happy to use fleece, buy some Polartec stretch or use my Powerstretch or even to sacrifice a new pair of good woollen sox if need be
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart
