Dual Density, Ventilated Framesheet with Removable Aluminum Stay – Ribbed and perforated backpanel provides excellent airflow, while a second layer supports the load without sacrificing comfort or pack weight. The removable aluminum stay provides extra support for heavier loads.

Large Front and Side Pockets with Stretch Panels – Durable stretch panels in front and side pockets expand to accommodate loads while keeping pockets low profile when empty. Side pockets are easily accessible while wearing the pack, and will fit up to 2L soft-sided water bottles.

Versatile Side Compression Straps – Side compression straps work either inside or outside the side pockets. Compression straps can join each other across the front of the pack to carry oversized loads like snowshoes.

Stretch Woven Hipbelt Pockets – Large stretch woven hipbelt pockets with inner key clip.

Roll Top Closure – Roll top closure for increased weather resistance and load compression.

Hydration Ports – Dual hydration ports with inner hang loop for hydration bladders.

Made in Colorado – We take pride in a quality product made in the USA.

I'm in the process of planning an longer than usual trek (2 weeks) and the old arc blast just isn't built for that much gear + food (mostly the food), this looks like it might fit the bill (though the bill would be a bit big.... $450, *ouch*)

Either way, I own one of their quilts and the workmanship is second to none I'm hoping these packs are the same.

(Aside, it looks like ZPacks are working on a non-cuben 40lb capable pack too, found out here: http://hikinginfinland.com/2015/02/new-gear-from-the-cottages-2015.html)

Obviously similar to the HMG Porter but a smidge lighter and more expensive. I like the use of D40T on the base.

I would be interested to know how they carry with a load in them.
