Hi guys & gals.
First time poster, but long time follower of this site. So many great ideas here! Do you reckon this would make a good under-quilt for a hammock tent? Just bought my first hammock tent and want to stay warm! Cheers!

There are many examples of people making under-quilts from these. Get on to youtube and search for "costco quilt" or have a look at websites like www.hammockforums.net.

So I finally had some time today to have a crack at my Costco top quilt conversion. This is my first attempt at sewing since primary school, so it's far from perfect but I'm still very happy with the result.

The footbox doesn't quite cinch closed but being a summer quilt or winter booster, I'm not too worried. Total cost $60.

Just a quick note.

At the Casula Costco these quilts have been moved to the sporting goods aisle next to the fresh produce cool room. Still around 6 boxes left.

I have yet to send you my consultation fee . The quilt looks good.

I went to buy the Costco quilts today at Docklands store in Melbourne to find that they had literally just sold out Moorabbin and Ringwood stores are out too and they told me that they had more on order for delivery in the first week of April 2018! I guess it's a winter item.

Does anyone know of any other Costco stores in Australia that still have stock as April is a long time away?

This can actually be an advantage if you get a bit hot and want to move down away from your core. The disadvantage with vertical is everything can end up at your feet.

Sorry to revive an old thread but does anyone know if Costco still stocks these?

Yes, but not every store and they are sometimes placed in odd parts of the stores that do carry them.

Yes, they do, but they are seasonal stock. Apparently due first week of April 2018.

11-07-18 - spotted at Casula Costco. Same brand as last year and appear to be cheaper than last year as well. Found amongst the bedding items.

What do these cost?

What do they weight?

How packable?

Cost - See my second photo above.

Weight - Last years were 460g. I haven't weighed the one I got today. But I'd say they are 460g as well.

Packable - Very. They compress down quite small.

I bought one a couple of months ago and mine came in at 451g with the stuff sack.

It does pack/compress quiet small and cost $35-

None found at Auburn.

Half stitching = 4.5g.

I know I may be a little late to the party but I thought I’d still ask does anyone know if Costco still has these in any of their stores in Australia? Really want try one as an u derquilt in a hammock. Thanks for your time
