Queen Charlotte Track

Postby Chris-a » Fri 27 Nov, 2015 4:14 am

Have included a couple of pics from our recently completed walk along the Queen Charlotte Track. Days 1 & 2 were fine, day 3 (the longest) was wet for much of the day, day 4 was brilliant sunshine and day 5 rained heavily for the entire day.

Beautiful scenery - lots of ascents and descents - track generally in good condition - very few people during late November.

Enjoyed the walk immensely. Great scenery along the way. Some challenging sections, yet generally easy walking. Day 1 climb out of Ship Cove is steep on a rough, rocky track and day 3 has a lot of steep hills to climb, particularly at the beginning of the 23 km day.

Thanks for sharing. The photos look amazing, even the ones all hazy with rain. Glad you enjoyed it. We have it on our list to do one day.
