Christchurch to Wanaka

Hello guys. Just wondering if anyone is travelling from Christchurch to Wanaka over next couple of days. 28th or 29th dec and would like some help to share fuel cost and we can also chip in for some hire car cost. No problems.

Also possible to travel via fox if that's the direction.

We are flexible and easy going travellers. I'm travelling with my girlfriend and we are struggling to get a ride in that direction so if you can help us out that would be fantastic.. Lots of great things to see along the way.

The reason why I ask is that hire car are all booked out during this period, bus and air is super expensive.
