The Twins Water Tank

Postby Shirlbaz » Mon 14 Sep, 2015 3:56 pm

Is there enough flat ground around the new Twins Water Tank for 3 small hiking tents?

If we don't camp there, how reliable is the water at Murray's Hut site? (we are leaving Walhalla late November).

Thanks,
SMc

Yep. It's on the top of the ridge, amongst light snowgums. Plenty of flat ground, plenty of room for tents.

Great to hear that. It sounds to be an ideal spot. We are hoping to camp there to fit in with an early morning pick up the next day on the Alpine Rd. Many thanks,
