This forum is for people seeking walking companions or transport for the Overland Track. There is a separate forum to find walking companions and transport for other walking areas.1 This website is not a bushwalking club.
2 Users take responsibility for all actions arising from meetings made via this website.
3 Be totally self-sufficient – your own tent, stove, gear, etc.
4 Walkers under the age of 18 and/or those walking with them should raise the trip with the under 18's parents or legal guardians.

Launceston to Overland Track transport Monday 10th April

we have booked with Cradle Mountain Coaches who are picking us up from Launceston airport 10am Monday 10th April 2017. They can collect others from along the route including Launceston city.
Their are only 2 of us (Dad and teenage son). If your interested in sharing the ride the price goes down to $80 per head if we can get a minimum of two other takers.
They have a website and the phone number is Chris 03 64277626
If your interested in doing the OLT you will note Tuesdays look easier to book because the normal buses don't run Mondays, making it more interesting to get to the trail head for a start on a Tuesday
