Grose Valley, Blue Mountains

What a great forum! Here's a few photo's I took recently that cost me a broken ankle! Had a slow 15km walk out the next day.

They look a bit crushed here! Was testing out Olympus EM5. Nice little system.

I trust you didn't have to climb that cliff with a broken ankle?

Well not quite. slipped off a rock climbing down a gorge. Was a bit reckless on my own but luckily it ended OK. Was fortunate to have black diamond ultra distance poles with me otherwise I would have been stuck! Very tricky getting back. Out of action for a while... :(

thanks you're welcome! it sure is a lovely area. I can't wait to go back. Saw so much on my slow trek out, but wasn't in the mood for photography by then!

Thanks for the support Wolfix! Yes it's going to be quite difficult just sitting around for several weeks!

Yep, I'd say so! Very easy for something to go wrong, no matter how experienced you are.

Sorry to hear about the ankle but I have to say, judging by the photos it was worth it. But then that is easy for me to say? :P

Thanks K. I'd have to agree that I couldn't have asked for better scenery as I limped out in pain!! I'm just pleased I didn't smash my camera when I fell.
