Crosscut Saw Hike

Just come back from a epic 5 day walk around the Mt Howitt, Mt Speculation area. What a amazing area this is, not easy but very rewarding

Nice photos. That last one is a stunner.

Agreed. Simply beautiful. I'm yet to do the Crosscut Saw...I've been saying it for the past 5 years...

...one day!

Thanks for sharing.

Just for others who might not know - you can make a pretty easy but equally speccy (how do you spell that??) walk. If there's one thing i miss about the mainland, apart from family & friends, it's this area

This was my favourite part of the Walhalla to Hotham walk. The sculpture of that range...

Great photos, Wildernesswanderer!

When were you at Mt Speculation? I spent a blustery night there on the 29th.

We were there from the 22nd till the 26th. We got the wind Christmas day hiking over the crosscut, nothing like a wind trying to blow you off rocks :)
