Arm River and surrounds

Postby Davo1 » Sat 02 Mar, 2013 9:05 pm

Had a very pleasant day in and around Arm River.
Some of the tracks were overgrown as can be seen in one of the pics.
I think the highlight was exploring the river for cascades and also some of the creeks feeding into Arm River.
Would have liked to see a little more water but the plus side for lower water was being able to access parts not normally available.

A bit dark, but my favourite. It may not show it but it made me think of Fairies and Leprechauns

Nice photos Davo1,
I think the bush is Heart Berry Aristotelia peduncularis which has has serrated leaves as you mentioned.

Hey Davo,

Good to see your pics - thanks! :)

I must have gone past Arm River a bajillion times before I finally stayed there last year, and walked the short distance to the falls. I now have a new favourite swimming hole, at the base of the falls. A bit nippy, but gorgeous on a hot day. :D
