Norway hiking: Ramstindan - Kalbekkbotn

Postby nickthetasmaniac » Sat 04 May, 2013 4:05 pm

Part two of three from my Norway adventure last June. This collection if from Ramstindan on the boundary of the Rondane Nasjonalpark to Kaldbekkbotn, an alpine valley in it's centre. As you can see the landscape had changed quite a bit by this stage and had become much more mountainous than my last set.

Please find the full story for this set on my blog: Norway, June 2012 pt.II – Rondane Nasjonalpark: Ramstindan – Kaldbekkbotn | people + other strange creatures

And here's part one: Norway, June 2012 pt.I – Rondanestien: Lillehammer – Ramstindan | people + other strange creatures

Beautiful shots again Nick, particularly the one of the walkers under the mountain, a great sense of scale.

Definitely not making me want to go any less!

It all looks so bare.. but also open, expansive, free in a way, like you could just go anywhere.

Mmmm, looks a bit bleak to me, think I'll stick to the forests like the ones I just posted. Thanks for sharing.
