A Recent Selection

A selection of shots from recent walks.

I picked up a Sony A7 late last year and have been using it for my walks with various lenses. So far I love it.

Fantastic photos. I love the depth of field on the waterfall 8)
And he sees the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended,
And at night the wondrous glory of the everlasting stars.

Nice work cams. It certainly seems to be a great camera for the outdoor photographer, nicely sized and
sterling image quality. The kit lens looks like it's half decent too.

Yes, I'm very happy with it. Size wise it's not the massive reduction that I was aiming for when I started looking for other options from Pentax SLR's, but the flexibility of using all the old lenses I've acquired is great and I'm loving full frame.

The kit lens isn't too bad. It is lightweight and has good colours and contrast. It is just inconsistent across the zoom range and the variable aperture is annoying coming from constant 2.8 zooms with previous cameras. I've ordered a Tamron 28-75 in A mount to pair with it.
