Cradle Mountain Skyline Traverse

Postby Markus » Mon 08 Jan, 2018 4:09 pm

G'day,
A couple of days ago I was lucky enough to get a day of perfect weather to complete the skyline traverse from Little Horn, up and over Weindorfers Tower, Smithies Peak and finishing on Cradle Mountain.

Here are a few snaps...
cheers

Did you follow any pad down from the Little Horn into the saddle?
I have been on a pad into that saddle but did not pursue it up onto the Little Horn.

Sorry for late reply, yes there is a bit of a pad leading off Little Horn directly towards the saddle which involves a small rope section. There are numerous gullies that could be used to descend and then contour around also.
