The last of my Tasmanian adventures before heading to Europe for four months! An amazing day up Mt Murchison, with a bit of sun, a bit of snow and a couple of rainbows

Yeah, the upper parts reminded me a lot of the Southern Traverse section of the Eastern Arthurs... It packs a hell of a punch for a four hour walk!

Thanks! Bit of everywhere really - Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and Italy. I'm doing walks in northern Finland, the Alps, the Pyrenees, a bit of the Camino de Santiago and possibly the Dolomites (time permitting...)

wonderful stuff nick thanks for posting. did i see some very late fagus down in the cirque??? i've been up once, got to the top in a thick fog which miraculously cleared while we were sitting at the trig - views are very nice!
