Hi Avi,

Mt Mugga Mugga is a fairly insignificant hill at the back of O'malley in the ACT. It's notable feature is a dissused quarry which can be seen approaching from the west on Hindmarsh Drive. Mt Mugga Mugga is the northern part of a series of reserves which surround the suburbs of Issacs and Omalley and lead south towards the Tuggeranong Valley. To the north accross Hindmarsh Drive is Red Hill reserve.

This Mt could easily be reached in less than an hour from the edge of Omalley or better yet on a circuit following firetrails around the larger reserve area of Isaacs Ridge. Some of the area is leased rural land with grazing sheep but Mt Mugga Mugga can still be accesed from a fire trail which leads accross the the high edge of Isaacs and Omalley. The closest point to access it would be the east end of East Omalley.

The Parks Depot in Weston Creek has copies of A4 topographic maps of all the nature reserves in Canberra. Here is a link to the soft copy version of the map of Mt Mugga Mugga http://www.tams.act.gov.au/__data/asset ... pmugga.pdf
I'll also add this great link as well, which links most of the parks in the area into a single walk

Best of luck exploring Canberra
