HELP Wanted Timberline 10p Tent

TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

HELP Wanted Timberline 10p Tent

Postby mickellay » Tue 11 Mar, 2014 11:53 am

Wondering if anyone on the forums would have one of the Timberline 10p Vacation home tents? I think this is likely a cheaper large tent originating from one of the large chain stores. If so, can you help? I just purchased one of these at a market. Seemed like a bargain, but when I opened all out, well theres no assembly information inside. So, its a bit of a jigsaw and not knowing for sure that its complete isn't helping. I have googled it, but best I could come up with was someone in my exact same predicament asking the same question.
If someone could assist with a photocopy of instructions it would be greatly appreciated.

Was considering their larger tents, had one of the earliest 4p model and they can handle rough weather. The pole hubs were a bit odd, if it's the same design- the poles can take some bending..

Thank you for that. I took it all out and couldn't work it out. Im beginning to wonder if its a Eureka tent. I had a look on the website and it dosnt seem to be there.
I don't see any obvious reference to Eureka on the tent or packaging. it just says (Timberline 10P Vacation Home). I shall have to have another go on the weekend perhaps.

We have this same tent and are prepping to sell it on ebay as we are moving overseas. It is an excellent tent, and was $300 new. We have a copy of the instructions, if you'd like us to scan them? I can't see how to attach a file on this site???

Hi Spunky.
I would really appreciate that. I have no idea as I didn't realise the instructions were missing when I bought it. Since it was a market purchase, Im not even sure its complete.
Would greatly appreciate if you can send me a scan of the instructions.

Hi Spunky
could I please get a copy of the instructions as well. I have also purchased this tent and had no instructions with it. We have tried numerous times to set up but just have no idea as the parts are a bit strange and without knowing what it is even meant to look like it is really confusing. Thanks for your assistance.

Welcome to the forum Kiwikat.
Spunky hasn't logged onto the forum for over three years so unfortunately I doubt you'll get a response from him/her. Hopefully another member has the instructions and can help you out.

Do you by any chance have a photo of that tent on the packaging ?
(just in case the tent is also sold under a different name....)
I have seen Vacation Home used by Pioneer and Northwest but not Timbeline.
I mean something like this ...
