Yep, the ice was challenging. There were more than a couple of falls, especially going down to Waterfall Valley in the dark. There was inch thick ice covering every section of the path. Would not recommend.

This is the only instance where I purposely ever leave the formed Track,not worth the risk of broken bones I believe.

Yep, we quickly learnt this after the first day of slipping and sliding around!
