Nope not Mrs Lot. I was lucky enough to be there in perfect conditions and got up on my first attempt (I have plenty of peaks that need a revisit due to adverse weather though!)

Magnificent shot, doogs. I'm thinking it's from further east - Snowy North??

Maybe considering the height the shot is from, it may be Nevada Peak?

Ah yes, the height! I was trying to figure out the angle of the Notch, if that's what it is. I can only do one thing at a time.

Well, that's High Dome and the Amphitheatre from . . . well, there's a spot on the Overland you get an view similar to that. One of the ridges between Windermere and Watefall.

Yerrrsss, I have a very similar shot from last winter. High Dome looks magnificent with all that snow. It's a bit surprising just how much it holds.

Sticking with the white, another easy one:

That's it, Joihn.

It was an awesome morning, after an awesomely difficult afternoon, walking from Petersens to Rodway in early autumn snow flurries that turned into a full on blizzard. There was a metre of snow on some parts of the duckboarding.
Blue skies a few hours later. :) Gotta love Tassie.

Nice photo John - an interesting perspective.

I think we might be looking at the POW's on the left and the Spires on the right, which would put you somewhere on the Twelvetrees Range?

Thanks Geevesy, yes pretty much just past the high point on the Twelvetrees Range. Nice open walking up there, had good weather and the whole place to myself. If I get an opportunity on a future visit I might try walking right down to the end at Harper Point.

Yes I never think to go an visit that particular range, but I think for those kind of views it may be worth putting in the plans!

Broke it again :?

So... if I were to turn 90 degrees to the left (and maybe walk a few meters down the track), I'd see this:
