Thanks Tyreless. Haven't been there for a long long while. Sounds like a plan for this Summer.
Another from the same park. I'm standing near the top of which Mountain?

Unless you are trying to be tricky (a la lophophaps) you should change the name of the jpg.

Thanks crollsurf. I love coming up the Crummer Spur over Little Twynam to big Twynam. Only ever looked down into Strzelecki Creek - from the Sentinel it's precipitous to say the least . Anyone can go next, I need to get ready for a weekend trip.

Thanks crollsurf. I've never been that way (just used your clue + google) but it looks a grand spot.

for a slight variation - while trawling through my photos on google, I found this thing that google photos must have automatically created from a couple of shots one of my kids took on a misty day. Where were we?

Bit hard to tell with the mist but it looks like Govetts Leap Lookout?

Can't say that I'm confident with this but it looks a bit like Festoon Falls (more water than I've seen before though......)

Hmm time for a clue methinks, proving a bit tougher than I thought it would be. It's located in a very waterfall-heavy national park, and is not far from a very popular waterfall.

Given that there's still been no takers I may as well narrow the area right down to keep this moving. The waterfall is located in the Gold Coast Hinterland region of southern Queensland

It's over 40 years since I went to Lamington NP. Time for another visit.

Back to NSW - where was I yesterday?

Was it a day walk from Mt. Waratah or part of a longer walk through the Nattai? (I'm interested in the passability of the Nattai post-"rearrangement").

Something similar (NSW):

It was a day walk down from Mt Waratah then back up to the southern helipad, with a car shuffle. Walking along that part of the river is very easy at the moment.

No idea where your photo was taken but it looks a very nice spot.

Fatboy, I think that's the Corang River, in the spot marked as "Many Rock Ribs" on the sketch map. Near the junction with Canowie Creek. A stunning spot indeed.

Yep that's the one. Just below the junction as you say (the junction is just above the photo below, which is taken from just above the higher cascades in the first photo). Been past there a few times but next time i'm out that way I wouldn't mind exploring upstream from the junction a bit. The whole area is awesome... the Budawangs have so much crammed into a relatively small area.

This one is a somewhat cheeky entry. It's in NSW. The photo is oldish, so the stairway may be more decrepit than that now.
