Waterproof Anorak Pattern - Green Pepper

Postby Adventure_Fox » Mon 04 Dec, 2017 10:31 pm

Hi all,

I am hoping to make my own eVent Anorak at home and I have been having trouble finding sewing patterns for such a garment. The one shape I do like is the Green Pepper #124 http://www.thegreenpepper.com/product/124-mens-fairbanks-pullover-pattern/ however I am not sure that anyone in Australia stocks these patterns.

I am happy to purchase the patterns from the USA but thought I would check in here first. I have sourced the materials to make the anorak and i'm ready to start looking at patterns.

Any other suggestions on patterns would be greatly appreciated.

:)

Confident but not experienced. I have access to some slightly more confident sewers (Mum and Aunt).

I would most likely be a size small if my previous jackets are an indication.

moondog when you say you have one do you have a business that deals with such things or you have it floating about in excess. I would be more than happy to pay for it. I just haven’t been able to find a similar pattern to download or purchase.

I can trace off a small/medium for you if you wish and photograph the instructions
Take note tho that because this is meant as an insulated piece it may not be the best for a waterproof

Thank you moondog55 I would appreciate that very much. I may well end up just using it for inspiration in creating my own pattern. It’ll be a slow work but I’m hoping to have fun with it at this stage.
