So close. This sits on a very poorly named ridge close by.

If i was to say it's somewhere to the west of Wilson's Prom would that be considered a clue - or just blindingly obvious :-)

Is that Cape Cumberland in the distance? Not been on that coastline for nearly 20 years, but it looks kind of familiar.

Edit: I may be getting names mixed up. Probably mean Cape Bridgewater. The one with the rookery, west of Portland.

Yes that is Cape Bridgewater in the distance. It has both an Australian and a separate NZ seal colony. I'm on the 7km or so cliff top walk from the Blowhole to Cape Bridgewater township.

Thanks. I did that walk ages ago, in similar conditions. Iit's a grand piece of coastline.

I'm about to hit the road, so anyone else can jump in here.

I'll take up the challenge.

Name the River in which I'm standing in and for bonus points- with what manmade "feature" is behind me to my right.

Hint : This is west of Melbourne and the river has very high sides

Eggs is the winner.

Taken outside the exit of the Tunnel looking back upstream on a day with good flow both through the Tunnel and around the cut=off bend.

I have not been to Lerderderg Gorge.
Is this near the track marked as Lerderderg Tunnel Access Track - or is it somehow related to the Tunnel Point track further north?
I also noticed a large structure like a 4 turret dam on the river near the Lerderderg Tunnel Access Track. What was that for?

Next one is in north Qld

Eggs,

The Tunnel is the one North of O'Briens Crossing, Usually accessed via Obriens Crossing up Byers Back Track and then down Gribbles Track to the river and Voila! It iz ze Tunnell. You can also access it from the Tunnel Point track out of Blackwood as a much longer walk.

The Lederderg Tunnel access track that your are looking at is a road that leads down to the weir which you are seeing as a 4 turret dam.

All of the above are worth a look.

Thanks eggs, I eventually woke up to that after poring over map angles in QTOPO . Don't worry, some of mine have had re-runs too.

Where was I recently in NSW - need to be specific about the location pictured:
