It is on the Buffalo plateau - it will enlarge if you click on it. Not Horn or Cathedral

Not the Hump - it is west from there and east from McLeod

The Hump is nearly due south of Mount McLeod. East from McLeod goes down a steep scrubby hil to the main road. I cannot see how a place can be west of the Hump and east of Mount Mcleod.

Good correction.
But not the Galleries - this is a named peak.

Just checked the map - it lies a little west from the hump but mainly north, and almost directly south from McLeod.
I knew it was between the 2 - but its North-South not East-West

The photo is probably a little small, but there is a ladder to the top.

This was a panorama from the top - greater than 360 - McLeod is seen near both LHS & RHS

It is Mt Dunn.
A short walk from the Reservoir car park [access via a rough 2WD road which is sometimes locked]
I dd a morning loop Mr Dunn to Eagle Point to Og, Gog & Magog. Then started an overnighter to Mt McLeod in the afternoon.

Thanks. That had me jumping all over the plateau. This should not take long, in Victoria.

Correct. The ridge on the true right bank below the falls is very steep.

KNP but not Boobee. You're pretty close.

Closer than I thought. Maybe Mackays Hut looking north over Diggers Creek to the Far Bald Ridge.

Is this close to Dershkos hut? The rocks look really familiar.

Weather looks great as well. I’m stuck in my tent on kangaroo ridge currently waiting out a storm :(

On the Round Mountain FT, looking northish towards the Round Mountain region. Problem is that so much of the region from Round Mountain-Grey-Mare-Valentines-Kerries-Bulls Peaks-Cesjacks-Far Bald Mountain looks similar.

Not RMFT, Greymare is the closest. I'm looking NE toward another hut 2k away at the base of that ridge.

What's the story with the grass in the foreground. It looks ... mown.

The mown grass and the straight shadow led me to deduce it was at a hut. The shadow could be a rock and the mowing may be goats, or hungry bushwalkers. Close to Boobee and north of Derschkos seems a contradiction. The only hut that I'm aware of north of Derschkos is Round Mountain Hut, and Round Mountain is fairly obvious. So It may be that the pic was taken from NE of Doubtful Gap, looking towards Boobee Hut.
