No, but you're getting much closer. We passed that on the way here, from memory it was raining heavily so we didn't stop.

Getting further away. Haast River was closer.

My first instinct when I saw it was Franz Josef, but I could not place where the falls would be.
But it might just be the walk there?

Not Franz Josef but that is the closest guess so far. I doubt those falls are named, it was pretty wet and falls were everywhere.

Correct eggs, but I think they have changed the name to River Walk Lookout track or similar. Part of it had been closed from memory.

I could sort of match the landslip area, but the waterfall will need to go down as due to lots of rain..

This one is from the UK.

I will be a little bit pedantic here.
I can see Google Maps throws up this name - but that is technically the cliffy ridgeline in view below me.
This peak [used as a regular exercise run by the locals] has a more "notable" name.

I've heard of Arthurs Peak and I've been to Edinburgh, but it was 39 years ago in my mis-spent youth so the details are sketchy.

Somewhere in Europe...

A lazy guess - might be Joshua Tree NP?

Edit - strike that - just looked closer at the photo and it looks like a gnarled pine. Won't be Joshua Tree..

PS - lets shift onto Canyonlands NP

This must be like the categories in the Celebrity Jeopardy skits on SNL (e.g. "States that end in Hampshire" or "What color is green").
