From what eggs said I'd guess the Razorback (but I've never been there, so it's just a guess).

I first thought it looked like Big Mac, but my memory for these things is the polar opposite of eggs'.

Yes it's Mt Macdonald NNW. eggs is right it looks less spectacular from this angle. Is that Eadley Stoney in the background?
I saw some recent pics of the Mac summit and that cairn looks like it's grown about 1/2m...do people carry their own rocks up?

Wow. Another case of talking myself out of being right, and then back into it. Thanks.

Didn't there use to be a snowgum branch stuck in the cairn? As for the rocks, maybe people dig them up.

Staying in Victoria. What mountain did I just summit?

Thanks. Your hint was enough. Reynard is one of a handful of flat peaks that has trees. Still in Victoria, should not be hard.

You cannot trust Loppy's captions. Always assume they will not be accurate. He has that sort of sense of humour. If it says 'Mt Bogong" it's just as likely to be at the MCG.
One day, in some misty, far-off, half-imagined future, one will be true. But most of us will be dead by then, so don't bother looking for that day.

That diagonal bit looks a bit like Buller West Ridge.

Any confusion due to file names is unfortunate. How many people climbed P487654.JPG? It's not Buller West Ridge, but it's nearby.

He is a bit of a bugger putting that up with its label isn't he.
Mustn't get cross or cut-up or saw with him...
Must admit - it was a lovely campsite up there.

Eagles Peaks and Big Mac are not in the frame. Eagles Peaks is probably visible, and McDonald is probably hidden.

.

I sorta knew that NNW, just figured I'd break up the monotony of work with a facile answer. I recognised the crosscut saw but not having been to Buggery, despite numerous times being told to go there, I didn't throw that in until maybe someones else narrowed it down a wee bit more. As usual I was too slow!

Buggery was a great campsite - but have to carry water up to it.
Since I was being the cryptic bugger, I might just put up one from my new Galaxy S9 phone.

In SA on the weekend.

Yes John - part of a 9km loop walk over Mt Lofty. A good spot for an autumn stretch.
Very impressed with the camera on this phone.

Thanks eggs. Yes the resolution, colour rendering etc is excellent. I sometimes use my current smartphone as a bushwalking camera.
It's not bad but yours blows it away. I can see the day when one device will probably do it all for me.

Thanks ribuck. I've been there a couple of times but always by myself and I've never had the confidence to climb/descend them alone. Is it difficult?

I'll post a photo mid-tomorrow when I have PC access.
