I was surprised you didn't pick up on this earlier eggs (I think you have picked most of my other posts of or on this mountain - fairly sure you can tell it is a personal favorite..... :D )

Never been to the hut but the bald mountain in the background looks like Mt Luxmore (so Luxmore hut?)

I was going to ask where the photo was taken from - I thought it looked like an odd perspective (from a boat of course!)

Lets continue with the theme - name the hut (Europe)

Ok theoretically its not a hut, more a 'hotel'. Saying this there was not a soul about when I went past (in fact I didn't see anyone all day in the mountains)

Here is a photo taken a lot higher up but nearby

Yep that's it - an odd little place perched just above Zermatt.

Well I hadn't intended to climb Platthorn but that was the way it turned out due to heavy snowfall the day before making the traverse to Mettelhorn a little sketchy (doing this solo in runners and crampons wasn't ideal!)

The Rhine Falls, next to the town of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland. I assume you're in an aircraft eggs?

That's the one wfbw. After hiking up there from town I thought about exploring further, until I came to a sign saying you can't walk on those trails - bikes only.

Yes John. It was nice to get a good view of it on the flight out of Milan
We had wandered around it over a few days before that, but not exactly a place for bushwalking...

Thanks eggs. That's true, a lot of historical interest though. And the gondola ride was a bit of fun.

Over to the USA, hope this is not too hard:
