Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

[FS Bris Aus post] MLD Trailstar

I bought this 2nd hand from here at the start of the year. Have never set it up. Old habits die hard, keep using my Tarptent.
Letting it go for the same price as I bought it for, which was a pretty good deal i think. Copy and paste of original ad below.

MLD trailstar - $200 + free shipping

I bought this second hand on BPl in August 2017 and used it once. The original owner used it twice.

This is the 2016 version in brown Pro sil nylon. The guy lines are lawson glowire. it isn't seam sealed but I will include an unused tube of seam sealer in the sale.

Excellent condition.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers

Thanks Wim. Although after reading yours and Jdeks glowing recommendations of it, I am having second thoughts on selling it......

If I would not have had a smashing deal on the Altaplex tarp the Trailstar would still be mine.

You must at least set it up, preferably in strong wind. You have to see it to believe how well it holds up in a stiff breeze.

Racca, I used my TS extensively in QLD summers. Echo Wim's suggestion you try it a bit first. Not just in strong wind but also in hot humid nights - it's a tremendously open and breezy shelter when it needs to be.

The biggest obstacle is learning how to set it up consistently and easily. Happy to help you with sorting out a good setup pattern for consistently taught pitches.
