Anyone know of someone that will shuttle bushwalkers around the Thredbo area?

Late last year I attempted to find public transport for a KNP trip ending at Thredbo. I could not find much.

Not sure where it goes in Jindabyne. Arrives Thredbo 4.37pm

These are mainly or totally for the ski season.

There's charters to Thredbo but it would be a fluke if the timing and destination worked and they let you on as an extra passenger.

I don't know of anything other than based in Jindabyne where there is a taxi service and other transport providers who may operate outside the snow season. This site has a good list http://www.snowymountainsairport.com.au/transport-summer.html. I am a little confused what you mean by "shuttle around the Thredbo area". Generally there are not many places to shuttle to from Thredbo - it's either Geehi for Hannels Spur, Dead Horse Gap which is in walking distance or Jindabyne.

A few years back was able to get the afternoon school bus which left Thredbo Info Centre to Jindabyne on weekdays at 4.30.

At the time this was operated by Snowlinkshuttle. Try info@snowlinkshuttle.com.au

The cost was $20 and no booking needed (its an otherwise empty bus returning to Jindy). Obviously doesn't run during school holidays. You may also be able to use it to get from Jindy to Thredbo in the morning.
