Thanks crollsurf. I've been there numerous times and have almost exactly the same photo.

Not much on my phone but try this from NSW:

That's it jonnosan, in what I believe used to be called Burgess Glen, now Auburn Glen on the topo map.
Fascinating historic track of which I want to try and walk what is still accessible of the section west of Katoomba Airfield.

I've done all the other bits but not the western section (at least - not intentionally) - does it join up with the Grand Canyon track?

Another NSW one - there's a plethora of named features in this one, any of which will get you the win but bonus points if you can identify the vantage point.

Me too. No, but I would access the Grand Canyon from the airfield as a means to help join the remaining fragmented bits. Unfortunately a significant piece of the track is now under Lake Greaves or in its exclusion zone.

Mt Mouin, Mt Warrigal, Mt Merrimerrigal, Mt Dingo and more. I was going to say from Bellbird Point but this looks further out than that, and I think it's possibly in view lower right. Maybe from somewhere on Narrow Neck - Carlon Head?

Yes to what's in view, yes to Narrow Neck but slightly east of Glenraphael head.

Your turn again johnw.

Possibly, but looking at my photo series from that walk I'm pretty sure this is on Abbott Peak itself, hard to remember from 2005 .
Close enough anyway, all yours Zapruda.

Thanks John. I had a bit of trouble with that one. Were you using a telephoto lens? What makes me think its the unnamed peak is the lack of anything else in front of it.

Yes, pretty sure there was a bit of zoom in that shot.

Not Serpentine. This was on or next to the Larapinta Trail. Very up and down here.
The named feature used to be on the Larapinta.

Well then you must be on that energy-sapping roller-coaster path above Standley Chasm.

It's a pity that access isn't allowed to the gorge beyond Standley Chasm anymore.
