Thanks eggs, the rock is very similar to your last shot.
I'll stick with NZ for this one:

You might ask, why two lighthouses at the same location?
Well, both are historic, built many years apart, and it has something to do with the weather.

Pencarrow Head Lighthouse. A new low-level lighthouse was commissioned in 1906 due to the problem of the high-level lighthouse being frequently obscured by fog and cloud. This lighthouse is still in use. Thanks to Wikipedia

Yes that's it Last. I was curious when we passed the two the lighthouses and eventually arrived at the same bit of history. Over to you.

I've had to google both your answers so i guess my knowledge of Spain is still not very good despite 3 trips there. :-) At the top of this canyon/valley is a spectacular pass leading to an equally speccy canyon/valley in another country.

This is also in Europe - but fairly easy to get to - as you can see.

I've been fortunate to enjoy a number of international destinations, but I'm not sure I'd want to be anywhere except here for the time being.

Where am I having a stroll in North America? This open area is named after the wildlife that often visits here:

Adult creatures of this locale would tower over most of us, can be dangerous, and are reputedly not too bright.

Well, 50% correct and it's time to move on. This is Moose Meadow at Girdwood south of Anchorage.
