thanks for posting
They are very nice photos and equally nice falls.
There's something about waterfalls and its environs that just isn't available elsewhere.

Maybe Waterfalls could have there own spot on the Forum?

Hey nice photos!

Is the track in there any better than when I went in a couple of years ago? It was getting pretty overgrown then.

Dude....

The track was great...had no issues. Only took me 34 minutes, including stops for drinks & picture taking. Well worth the early morning.

Thomas.

We (myself and matt_22) had a wonderful walk in to these falls yesterday 05/01/11. I have to say that these falls (and the surrounds) were stunning. It was an fairly easy walk in, and I would highly recommend it to all walkers. Easy and safe walk in for those will moderate fitness and also for families with older children.
Cheers,
katief

Hey Katief...

Top spot ah....

Agree that the walk is easy. Track notes state 2 hr return. I completed one way easily in 34 minutes....including picture stops..!!

Looking to head back soon with my brother.....

In there very recently. Someone is doing up the track. All the creek crossings are getting new steel and pine bridges. There is stone work on bogs and stepper sections. There is a log book 6 minutes from the falls.

This is a lovely, family friendly walk. The Steep bit is neither too steep nor too long. :) 1 hour return walking time at a family pace, but allow at least an hour and a half to enjoy.

Yep.....

Noticed all the supplies for track works......shame really. It's really nice just the way it is. The improvised crossings add to the mistique of the surroundings & walk itself....

My eldest son is going on 6 & I suppose new foot bridges would make it a walk that he could participate in, cause he's been asking lately when he can come along on a walk.

Regards,
T
