Description

As the Tasmanian Trail makes its way from Railton to Sheffield it makes use of the track around Romani Hill and up along Redwater Creek. You will find the turn off just above the Stoodley Plantation on B14. You can drive in about 750 metres to the locked boom gate. One hundred and fifty meter past the gate you will see a concrete water tank, and about the same distance further on a sign advising you that access to the property is restricted and permission is required (Tasmanian Trail users excepted). From here you walk about 1 km up a vehicle track. You will see the falls on the right. Up ahead at the next corner you will find the pedestrian gate. The track is to the left of the gate past the old axle and is a very short easy walk down to the falls.

Although not large, the main fall is very attractive with a small plunge pool before the stream turns a bend and rolls over a second smaller drop.
