Mondays Experts

Postby Nuts » Fri 10 May, 2013 11:00 am

I'm sure we all know the story of Alexander Pearce- Ultralight Pioneer???
Iv'e mentioned the song to a lot of people, just re-stumbled on it when reminded of another Weddos favorite.

Anyhow.. not much seems news in this netty world, Enjoy:

Fans of the likes of Mick Thomas, Tim Rogers, Darren Hanlon et al. and/or songs about Tasmanian convict history might be interested in this -> http://www.darkmofo.net.au/program/vandemonian-lags/ (the website might not open on old internet explorer browsers :( )
I am sure Mick will get A Tale They Wont Believe cranking! :D
Limited dates, including tonight in Launceston + Friday and Sunday in Hobart.

Haha , now you've got me going all sentimental - listening to old Mark Seymour, The Church, Hoodu Gurus, Machinations, Died Pretty, Sunnyboys, The Saints.

And I just love this song - Benchtop - by Melanie Oxley (sister of Jeremy Oxley of The Sunnyboys)

I have fond memories of singing this in London busking in the early 90's with a cool Adelaide guy I hung out with

We can learn a lot from crayons. They come in different shapes and colours, but they all have to live in the same box
