its great how so many people can interact and agree to disagree and be tactful the vast majority of the time
I've been on another forum, if you disagree with someone you get a written group beating...

It certainly has been hugely positive for me, as my first experience of an on-line community. It's greatly enhanced my bushwalking, by providing inspiration, heaps of info and cut-price lighter-weight gear, via the market place, and specials alerts. Oh, and given me the funnest game to play when I'm not out there. :D

While we've had the odd hiccup, I never would have stayed here if there weren't so many great peoples. Thanks, folks!

Not seeing blunt as a match for tactful in the thesaurus. LOL

Truth is a lot of these types of forums have died out over the years due to social media. I think this one continues to succeed because most bushwalkers aren't self-righteous and the back catalogue of conversation regarding walks and stuff is broad and deep.

A great resource and quite humberling having walked for years, to realise you've only scratched the surface.
