Im interested in this.
Do you need to use the TI stakes to nest the pot into the cone when using Metho? or are they just for the inferno woodburner?

Not for meths stove use. I’ve actually included the 12-10 meths stove they provide with a simmer ring (lower heat longer burn reduced fuel)
They are only used to raise the pot when you burn wood in the inferno to give more airspace for combustion.

P.s. the wood stove inferno works as well if not better than any other product out there. I’ve got another one for a toaks and it is a rather awesome add.
After endless hours of trialling these cones actually do work much better in the field with meths for boiling water. So many u toobers test them indoors. Outside is where you need to test them , in wind on the top of a hill. Grudgingly I’ve proven that these work and much better than a straight windshield no matter how I make it.
