I've lost my little back-up torch.
I am after the older style Dolphin Pico that takes a single AA battery
I prefer to use Lithium cells in my emergency torch and for that I need the version that takes the AA battery. Every on-line seller has the new stock but still using the picture of the older version
The new version takes 2 * AAA batteries and useless for my needs

MD, Have you tried your local Woolies or BigW? Below links suggests it's available around Geelong.
That said, one of the Woolies images shows a 2xAA model, but the description and other photo is 1xAA.
BigW only shows the 1xAA model. No guarantee but might be worth a look.
Also sometimes older style, smaller camping/disposal stores could be worth trying.

Dolphin Pico 1xAA at BigW

p.s. Geelong South Fagg's Mitre 10 says low stock of 1xAA, ring them first.

Yep Almost ALL the web descriptions are wrong. Faggs told me they had the single battery version on the shelf, they held a couple for me and when I got there they were both the AAA version. Ditto for the supermarkets and Bunnings.
The company itself uses robots on their email and facebook contacts and it is impossible to talk to a real person about this problem of using the wrong pix and description.
I've used a lot of small and mini torches over the decades and the single battery Pico was quite simply the best for my particular needs.
There may be a new version coming as Bunnings have this one for $5- now, if I wanted the AAA version that is cheap enough.
Happy to pay a finders fee on this one and postage

All good. I found it, so not lost after all. Still if anybody has one for sale I'd be interested.
I'll leave the thread open for a few days just in case
