Recommend me a bladder

Revising my current gear with a view to doing more multiday hikes.

My trusty CamelBak Omega 3L has done me proud for nearly 10(?) years now. The cap seal is starting to wear and it's got me thinking about a replacement unit altogether.

What's the consensus on durable 3L bladders? Stick with CamelBak and find spares, or go a whole other brand?

I've long had a liking for the Source style bladder - wide top, with fold over and slide on sealing strip.

All my bladders are now Osprey bladders. I like the wide mouth. That said I do not know if they do a 3 litre version.

With you there. I have several Osprey bladders including the latest variant which is 3 litre and has a stiff backing which makes it super easy to get in and out of a loaded pack when full of water. Best bite valve on the market in my opinion, leak free and no fiddling with an on/off closure. I also have a number of Camelbacks but never use them now.

Not the cheapest but definitely the best.

I like the Hydrapak's...as with NNW's recommendation, they have a wide mouth, fold over slide top. Quick release hose & lockable bite valve.

I'm happy with the Platypus 3l Hoser. Simple, lightweight and uses a lemonade bottle type cap.

I went with a 2L Osprey Hydraulics, mostly due to pack size, and thanks for the advice from Jack D about fitting it back into a loaded pack.

The Omega can live in the spares box.
