TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Has anybody here ever used a garment made from it or heard anything on its performance?

I found this pullover for sale at "Zappos" the US discount store and while they do not post here I can ship with mates or family. it looks OK and fun and anorack style pullovers in fleece aren't common

Yes it is a softshell but I could find no real information on permeability or vapour transmission rate or thickness of the material.
TNF are high on adverspeak but low on information these days
