TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Bogong in the CBD or Aussie disposals and I'm sure there are other places.

For which state?

I go onto sixmaps.nsw.gov.au and download the NSW etopos if I need to print. Though I usually use the digital map on my phone app. I only print for long or very remote trips where I want a backup.

Some other states have similar services. There is a list of links which often includes the state topo services under the road closures sticky in each state section of the forum.

There are a few online companies that retail topo maps as well and you can usually find maps for popular areas in specialist bushwalking stores.
