Just bought two of these and keen to know more re ages/specs/temp rating etc.
Theyre old enough to be original made in Australia versions, from 1990s?
Anyone have one they can enlighten me?
Or even better, anyone have old Paddy Pallin catalogues from the era they could look it up?
Cheers...

Make an enquiry directly with Paddy Pallin (Rundle Street, Adelaide, 8232 3155;).
Mind you, a lot of the staff in their stores would not have been born when the Brindabellas first hit the market!
Still worth an enquiry though.

Yep, found a catalogue for it - Mont had a brindabella in the 90s and looks like PP ceased making theirs in late 80s/early 90s perhaps? I bought the Bimberi in 1993.

I've edited my previous post.

Just to help with the chronology, I have a Paddy Pallin Brindabella that I purchased from the Paddy's store in Launceston in mid-1988. Condition still excellent.

But the weight! Mine is only used for car camping as it’s as heavy as a spare car wheel
I had a couple of JH Snowbags bought new in 1999. As time went on they were rubbish at keeping me warm. Back in the day they were nearly $1000 each. Binned then recently. Don’t know why they lost their ability to keep me warm? Loft? Feather degradation? Swapped for a Mont Helium. One third the weight and warm

Have you washed that bag ?
If washed and dried correcftly it should go back to the original loft and weight.
