TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Osprey parts.

G’day all.

The waist buckle on my new Osprey pack lost a tooth on its second outing.

Anybody know where I can get it fixed or get a replacement part? I checked the site and they don’t ship outside the US and I think you would have to pick apart the stitching to fit it anyway which I wouldn’t be to keen on.

It’s not a warranty issue it was basically my fault ...

I'd have a chat to the place where you bought it from or the Aussie wholesaler which is 'Outdoor Agencies'.

Hopefully they can help you out with a replacement or repair.

If you get the part but can't get it stiched in then Venus repair in Sydney do a lot of pack repairs.

Osprey via Outdoor Agencies will repair it or replace it as part of Osprey's "All Mighty Guarantee".

I’ll say!

I don’t want to jinx myself here as I haven’t got the replacement buckle yet, but it was a very easy and efficient process.

A phone call to an actual human, 1 form through an email and apparently it’s on its way?

No receipt questions, proof of purchase, incident report .....

Definitely get on to Outdoor Agencies (Osprey distributers). They have been the best when dealing with any issues that came up with my Osprey packs.

I had the sternum buckle break on my partners pack back in 2017. I had tried to source a replacement locally, and went to a few shops. I got one at Decathlon overseas but there was a middle bit that meant it didn't fit into the Osprey buckle female end.

So I ended up contacting Outdoor Agencies about where to source one - they sent a replacement to me express post to boot.
