Where to get maps?

I see a lot of bushwalkers use physical maps. These maps look better than google maps. Where do I buy good physical maps of for example the blue mountains nsw?

I usually use six.maps on satellite view because its higher resolution than google maps satellite view. Are there any other satellite photo services that are higher quality for nsw bushland?

If they don't have an original then they print the topo side (blank,/no satellite image on reverse) and post it to you.

In the Blue Mountains the Paddy stores and Summit Gear still have some physical maps.

Down Woolongong at Bushcraft Equipment they used to have the full selection.

Note, not a replacement for a paper map but a very useful addition.

If you only need the Blue Mountains region topo maps then try either the NPWS Visitor Centre shop at Govetts Leap, BMCC Echo Point Visitor Centre at Katoomba or their other visitor centre on the highway at Glenbrook. All of these usually stock the relevant paper topo maps, unless something has changed very recently. Some outdoor shops in Kent Street, Sydney CBD - Paddys, Mountain Equipment and Trek & Travel usually have a range of topo maps for sale. The Map Centre in North Parramatta also has a wide range. And you can buy them online through quite a number of outlets e.g:
