Warm socks

TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Warm socks

I was certain I saw a post not long back from someone local that produced some marino products but for the life of me can't remember what / who that was.
I need a few pairs of socks for an upcoming trip to Antarctica, so would like something thick and warm. Open to any suggestions!

Bridgedale summit
Btw its not the socks that are warm. Your body produces the heat.
Its the content of the sock and how it best manages warmth and moisture.
Ever on the search for a one ended stick.

The WW Overlands are lovely and warm, especially with a thinner undersock

Thanks all! Very helpful. I thought there was a member here selling marino socks/thermals etc, but maybe I dreamt it.

+1 Wilderness Wear. Tassie wool for the win. Price isn't outrageous either.
