TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hello all. Can I use a Jetpower canister with an Optimus Crux Lite stove?

Hi Brian, all the Lindal stoves and canisters such as Crux and Jetpower are compatible, in theory. Every now and again a stove or canister has a fractionally different dimension that doesn't easily open the gas valve, but in my experience it's pretty unusual. You should be fine, but it's worth a check before you hit the track.

Go to Kmart or Bunnings if you are happy with the 230g canisters. Only $4.50 each.
