Come to think of it American Chili Powder might well be a mixture of those herbs and spices ,rather than just Chili powder

I had US chilli powder of my brekky for a few days last year.

As is my habit, I read the ingredients information on the package, and while I don't remember the details, I do recall that chilli wasn't high on the list
